Please let us know what box model number you have and we can let you know what sort of converter you will need.
Also, does that old TV have Composite Video (yellow RCA) input, or just coax/antenna input?

I have a similar problem. I just bought a commercial treadmill with a TV/tuner embedded in it. It takes cable input and can scan for channels, etc. I was hoping to use one of my Gemini devices from the children's bedroom with the treadmill. Is there a way to hook up the streaming device with HDMI to a coax input?

If it takes a cable input, called an F connector, you normally can get a modulator from HDMI to Channel 3 or 4.... I do this on my older TVs.
I have a Genie Mini in my garage, and from that location it connects to a modulator (from HDMI to "cable" channel 3) then I connect this output to my original Coax network that has wall plates in each room. So any TV plugged into a wall plate gets channel 3, i.e. low resolution DTV.
I have remote control extenders that will operate the unit in the garage from any room.
It's not a fantastic picture, but it works.
