No captioning on my DirecTV programs box work.

None of your instructions work on the screen or internet. It has been doing this since DirecTV said they had a new home. That was back in March. 

The little box in the office does have cc, I need the main box replaced  in the living room in order to get the cc to come on all programs.  There is NO reset button on this box. 

FYI, We no longer have AT&T account... switched over to Bank of America.

Hey! the reset button worked! I didn't even know it was hidden around the side.  So now, I'm very happy with your help!  

The captioning is working!   Yippy!

I have done both of those actions and they do not work.

My box does not have a reset button. 

May I have a replacement DirecTV box, please.

If unplugging it for a few minutes doesn't work then you have to call DTV for a replacement.  What is the model number as I don't recall any DTV receivers not having a reset button.

What is the MODEL of that DirecTV box? Curious what one has no reset button at all.

FYI, We no longer have AT&T account... switched over to Bank of America. 

Huh? AT&T is not a bank so that switch makes no sense. Also would have nothing to do with DirecTV's Closed Captioning capability.

I see a tiny dot on the right side "Reset"?  then a card in a slot.

Have been getting bits and pieces of CC......  Still no straight closed captioning 

Think the box needs to be replaced.

Yes, the tiny red dot near the access card slot is the reset button.

Glad you got the CC working. And yes newer boxes the red reset button is located in a different spot. So always best to know model number when asking for help.

Still confused how you switched from AT&T to Bank of America. Wondering what was actually supposed to be said.

Oh, I paid DirecTV on AT&T credit card.  Now closed due to all the problems we've had with that bank.   Now paying on Bank of America.  Thought AT&T was trying to get us back.  No way.  

Thanks for getting us back on CC. We watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off in CC. So good to have cc to see this crazy movie.  Thanks.

AT&T is a phone and internet company, not a bank.

Perhaps you had a refund/rewards card from AT&T, but it was through a financial institution that AT&T is not.
