new oled lg tv.

Read other post but answers not working on my remote.  New LG oled 65inch tv.  Bought a new gemeni box (have two already working perfect) to go with new tv.  Did not want air connect.  LG remote works for channel changing and volume but I can not bring up recorded programs, can not record (no button) and only guide that comes up is from LG.  When I point my directv remote at the box nothing happens.  It will turn it on and off, thats it
