Minis lose connection
I have a genie and 3 minis. The system has been in for 8 years. Within the last few months the minis will lose connection. The only way to get it back is to replace the SWM splitter. This has happened 4 times now.

What are the receiver models? Are you saying that the SWM splitter has failed several times and replacing it is the only temporary fix? If so, this could be a cabling issue or perhaps a power inserter issue.

The genie continues to function but all three minis lose connection. The only thing that works to regain connection is to replace the SWM splitter. Sometimes it will last a week. This time it worked for a month. Which cable do you feel it could be ?

A potential issue could be the SWM Power Inserter and the wiring somewhere that keeps burning out the SWM splitter. There may also be another wiring issue. I cannot simply pinpoint one area but if you want to troubleshoot try to first replace the SWM Power Inserter.
