Just got updates on my Genie 2 and my Gemini and Genie Mini

All 3 updated recently. Have not had major problems, but:

1. just hitting red buttons did not restart properly. Had to power cycle the Genie 2 and the Gemini

2. once in a while, the Gemini turns on, and then turns itself off. Once on, it usually stays ok

Anyone else?

Gemini:  RTT4.220824.001.release-r-wnc-0x1966-7   (the 0x1966-7 is the part people usually reference)

Genie 2: 0x1986, Service 2, Thu 8/31 1:06a

Genie Mini: 0x198c, Downloaded today (9/15) 10:04a

I'll run for a while longer, it does not happen very often. Will go for another week or so and see if I can characterize when it happens. Don't want to get into another chat right now, trying to enjoy TV ;-)

Any yet another round of updates today, for the Gemini and the Genie 2.

A second round of updates in less than a month usually indicates that someone found a bug.

Anyone else notice anything (other than the update?)

Hmm... I guess no one is following the updates that closely... Is there a more active forum for DTV hardware?

I know that there is a Cutting Edge forum over on the satellite guys forum if you are interested:

Thanks for the tip! Went over and joined, will probably try some of the beta stuff, especially since they rate the "danger" and also have sort of release notes, of what is fixed or addressed.

Thanks again!
