1. Open DIRECTV on your TV device.

2. Choose Settings and then System.

3. Select Remote & Devices, then Program Your Remote.

4. Choose the TV manufacturer or sound bar you want to add.

5. Follow the prompts to finish up.

Jensen is not an option on the list,so I can't choose the manufacturer

What DVR/Receiver model number?

It's quite likely that the cheap DirecTV remote does not have a code for that device. 

The remote is an rc73 and it's a genie receiver
