I switched 2 TV's to different rooms. Took it all apart, can't remember how to put it back together. Also the main box for signal , doesn't
Does the IRD & SWM box, and main box have to stay in the original room? Plus the huge TV doesn't have a HDMI port. Ha ha ha
I'm a 65 yr old RN . Can run a ventilator, pumps, read cardiac anything. But can't hook a TV up. Ugh. Help

The location of the power inserter depends on the coax that the POWER PASS is connected to on the SWM Splitter. The power inserter must be routed directly to the port on the SWM splitter labeled POWER PASS. Then, your system should work as expected.
Currently, I assume that all of your Receivers are displaying error 775.
Otherwise, what are ALL of your receiver models? In some cases, the main Genie DVR acts as the 'power inserter' rather than an external power inserter.

I honestly know the problem lies with the dish not receiving power due to the power inserter/main Genie DVR not being connected to the POWER PASS red port on the SWM splitter. If the connections are ensured to match up, error 775 should recede and the problem would be resolved. I just need the receiver models if possible.
@DIRECTVhelp
A PM would defeat the purpose of troubleshooting the issue publicly, so I strongly recommend keeping it public for this reason.
