I now have direct tv and have to use two remotes because we have bose speaker system. I only want to use one

The RC7X remotes are not made to turn on/off soundbars or A/V receivers they use HDMI-CEC for that.

You'll need a capable Universal Remote to control both devices with one remote control. Logitech Harmony is what I use, but they're getting hard to find.

Has big database, learning function, wifi between hub and remote (I use mine outside the the back yard with a HDMI extender)
