HR24-100 constantly pauses for a split second

Just had my system installed 2 days ago.  Ever since the installer left every channel pauses for a split second then resumes.  This happens on live tv and on DVR.  Resetting the systems seems to work for a few minutes then it starts again.  Any suggestions?
