How can I tell what the Model and type of remote control I have that came with my Original service installation years ago?

I have an old DIRECTV remote that is not pictured in any of the technical information I’ve tried to get help with. I had two receivers connected previously but only have one now but still have the extra remote.

I am replacing the non working remote with an exact duplicate that was used in another room but has set dormant for the last 6-8 yrs.  I can’t find any pairing instructions on your website that matches the one I have now?

Do I need to order a newer model of DirecTV remote control or can I program the one I already have?
