Genie Error 5109 Use Supplied Power Supply

I received a 5109 error on my Genie device which displays an error screen that says use the supplied power supply.  I am using the supplied power supply.  I unplugged it to reset the device and when it rebooted I received the same error code?   I do not know what else to do.

I believe that to be a Gemini AIR device error code.  Try flipping the USB-C side of the plug in upside down or opposite of how it's plugged in now. The portion that plugs into the AIR and not the TV.

I doubted this post when I first saw it. Had been working on my MIL's TV for what felt like an hour. So I gave in and tried this. 

Flipped the USB-C and it was the only thing that worked.
