Gemini loses wifi connection

Every morning I have to reconnect my Gemini to WiFi.  This is a real problem in our house.  My 76 y/o husband is technically challenged.  Having to do a restart EVERY morning is not good.  I contacted DirecTV support.  A new Gemini Air was sent to me.  I hooked it up but still have issues (I have a background in IT & electronics).  I have rebooted our gateway several times hoping to solve this issue.  The Gemini was connected to a Bose Lifestyles home theater system so I plugged the Gemini directly into the TV (Samsung Smart TV).  Still have to reconnect the WiFi after the TV has been turned off for several hours.  I've been reading up about this issue and it seems to be common.  Is there a fix or is there just a problem with the Gemini Air?

AFAIK the Gemini Air is for use with DTV via internet AKA DTV streaming service so you may get better results posting in their forum.  Your router may not be renewing it correctly or there is a range problem.
