End of service- equipment
Hello,
It really bothers me that after using DirectTV for years, even set up new service again when I moved, that when I cancelled my subscription due to high prices, poor service they could care less about their equipment.
I have routing equipment, remote genies from 5 TV's not to mention the satellite that is still on my roof. I was told to remove it myself and to throw away everything.
First of all it should not be my responsibility to remove the satellite from my roof!
Second, what kind of company doesn't recycle it's used equipment !?!
Your company installed all of this crap and should be morally and environmentally responsible to remove it all.
Send someone to fix this problem. I am not going to drive around either spending time and $$$ to return these things either.

Sorry, they're not going to send anyone to you. The dish has always become property of the homeowner. The Receivers and DVRs are only returned if they're suitable for refurbishment and re-use, otherwise you can take them to an electronics recycler.
