DVR won't stay paused

Suddenly my DVR will not stay paused on recorded program playbacks. I pause a recorded program to go to the bathroom and before I get back the program is playing again. THe pause will only hold for about 30 seconds. Never had this problem before. It just started recently, about the same time we started having commercial pages during pause. I have pushed the red button (inside the door, by the card slot).

I reset it again with the little red button by the card slot and this time it worked. It's been paused for over 20 minutes.

The buffer automatically starts playing from the paused point after 90 minutes when it gets full.

I'm having the same problem... Will try the reset... But sounds to me like the tech department needs to do an update to fix this bug!!!

I am having the same issue now. Any recorded program that is paused for 30 sec start back up. Doesn’t seem to be any fix or update on this. Is Direct Tv ever going to fix this bug?
