DTV & Verizon Wireless 5G

I have DTV - satellite. Looking to switch internet providers.

Question surrounds set-up with Verizon Gateway unit, old router has ethernet cable from a DTV device that is screwed onto a coaxial cable, do I just plug that same ethernet cable into the Verizon Gateway unit?

Yes, that Ethernet cable can simply be plugged into the new router to continue to provide internet to your DIRECTV equipment.

That is called a DECA BB and as stated just plug it into the new router/gateway and make sure to plug in the power supply whether the A/C brick or USB.

You may need to rerun network setup.
