Dish/receiver compatibility

Wondering if a directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB 3D2RBLNBR0-14 DISH is compatible with HR24? If so, does it require a SWM power inserter?

Hi @shannon02, thanks for the quick response.

Hi @Ffrandy, yes the HR24 is SWiM compatible and it needs a SWiM power inserter as well.

Any 21v or 29v DTV power inserter will work

Primary unit is a Genie HR54-500 from 2016

My stand-alone set up in the back garage:

dish is new SWIM SL3, with power supply tried with and without spliter. Green light indicating power.

 HR24 receiver

Connected dish to power to Sat In

Satellite settings configured correctly

Still get 771 after many sat config and reboot attempts.

No signal

I set the satellite angle exactly how the round dish had been positioned for the many years that worked perfectly in prior years before no longer supported.

Does the dish angle change for the new dish? What else could be wrong? Many many hours into this now.

Thank you for any guidance.
