DirecTV remote not controlling new Samsung QN65S90DAFXZA
Just purchased a brand new Samsung QN65S90DAFXZA and I tried all 53 Samsung codes with the receiver and none of them will control our new TV.... maybe it is time to cut the dish.... not using 2 remotes...
Is there still any good 'learning' remotes on the market? I remember 20 years ago I had a touchscreen remote that would learn IR.

For your first question, what is the receiver model of the DIRECTV receiver along with the remote model? The remote model is on the top left of the receiver and starts with RC.
Second, yes, a famous learning remote is the Logitech Harmony. This can likely be found on eBay, Amazon, etc.
