DIRECTV Gemini Air not connecting to bluetooth

My bluetooth airpod headphones will not connect to my Gemini air no matter how close it is. It just continually keeps searching for devices.

Hi there! Our goal is that you can fully enjoy all the features of the Gemini Air. To fix this issue, you can try resetting your device by following the instructions provided at this link: https://www.directv.com/support/internet/article/000095432 Once you have reset your device, go to Menu > System > Remotes & Devices on your TV. At the bottom of the screen, it will search for Bluetooth devices trying to pair. Your device will show on the screen, and you can select Connect. It will immediately remove audio from the TV, and it will be playing through the headphones. We’ll contact you via PM to check if everything is working properly. Maria, DIRECTV Community Specialist

I've had difficulty connecting bluetooth devices like keyboards, that connect to many other devices. Also, once connected, often they need re-pairing again later. If you reset does not work, I hope DTV can start looking at the quality of the Bluetooth software support.

Having the smae problem; have tried 4 different bluetooth headsets and none will pair with Gemeni air device.

Also, this is my second Gemeni air device and neither one will pair with any bluetooth devices.

AFAIK the Gemini Air is for the streaming service so you should try posting in the DTV via internet AKA DTV streaming forum.  This is the DTV sat forum.
