Double check that model number as H20 is not an HDDVR, but an HR20 would be.
However, that is an extremely old model either way. Far past the point DirecTV would activate it. Boxes cannot be owned, boxes from DirecTV are supposed to be activated within so much time, and they no longer reactivate old boxes.
Boxes are sent back to them, or in the case where they are very outdated models like yours get recycled instead.
