DirectTV remote will not work my JBL Soundbar

We want you to have the best experience with our service. The first step is to access the Remote and Device settings. To do so using the remote control, press Home > Arrow left to the menu, then down to Settings and press OK > Arrow down to System > Arrow right to access the System settings > Arrow down to highlight Remote & Devices > Arrow right to access Remote & Devices setting > Arrow down to highlight Program Your Remote > Arrow right to access Program Your Remote settings. 
To manually programming, these are the steps:
1. Access Program Your Remote settings. (Steps above)
2. Arrow down to highlight Speaker System, then press OK. 
3. Using the keyboard, begin to type in the brand name of your speaker system, and the brands available begin to display.
4. Once the speaker system brand is displayed, arrow right to select the speaker system brand from the list, then press OK.
5. A test begins attempting to turn up the volume on the speaker system.
6. Press Exit to return to live TV or Back to return to the Settings.
