DirectTv remote not Powering On/Off TCL Q7 65'' TV
Just bought this TV and it automatically paired my Directv. It controls everything but the On/Off. I can't manually pair it because it does it seemlessly......just doesn't control the TV On/Off. Any ideas? Remote model VRC82-19

Thank you for reaching out to us, @dcmoss12. Turning on/off your TV and device is easy. Please follow the steps below:
Press the House Button on the Remote Control.
Choose Settings and then System.
Select Remote & Devices, then Program Your Remote.
Choose the TV manufacturer you want to add.
Follow the prompts to finish up.
Select ‘Power Off Devices’ and press OK.
Please let us know if this helps. I will send you a DM to further assist. Jennifer, DIRECTV Community Specialist

I am having a similar problem with the VRC82-19 remote and a TCL QM8 TV. The pairing dialog does not have TCL in the list of TVs. I have seen plenty of queries on line about this and a whole bunch of codes for the TCL TVs. The problem I see is that the description of how to link up via code seems to be for an older remote. I keeps talking about a green light flashing to indicate that you can proceed to enter the code. The VRC82 does not have a green light so I am questioning whether the instructions are even correct for the VRC82 remote.
Any ideas??

I found the solution to my issue. My issue was that the Gemini was hung up. Reboot (push little red button on side of device) and then all of the TVs that it supports came up and problem solved.
