Direct tv volume not working with TCL TV

Hello

under setting program TV's there is no option for TCL tv's.  I did the code search and found one that allows me to turn it on and off but the volume is not working.  Can you help to resolve???

Can you please confirm what remote model are you using? Also, have you tried to disconnect and re-connect the receivers from the power source? It can usually fix it common issues.

What’s the receiver model? (Don’t know why DIRECTVhelp didn’t ask for that)

Also, DIRECTV remotes are cheaply made and not designed to work on ‘every’ TV out there. There are Logitech Harmony remotes which are truly ‘universal’ in the way that they control both your DIRECTV receiver and your TV.

There could be several reasons why your Direct TV volume is not working with your TCL TV. Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Check your TV settings: Make sure your TV is not set to "mute" or "low volume." Use your TV remote to adjust the volume and see if that solves the problem.

  2. Check the connections: Make sure all the cables are properly connected between the Direct TV receiver and the TCL TV. Try unplugging and plugging them back in to ensure they are properly seated.

  3. Check the Direct TV remote: Make sure the Direct TV remote is properly programmed to work with your TCL TV. You may need to reprogram the remote to sync with your TV.

  4. Check the Direct TV settings: Check the Direct TV settings to make sure the volume is not turned down or muted. You can also try resetting the Direct TV receiver to its default settings.

  5. Contact technical support: If none of the above solutions work, you may need to contact technical support for both Direct TV and TCL TV to troubleshoot the issue further.

  1. Check the Direct TV remote: Make sure the Direct TV remote is properly programmed to work with your TCL TV. You may need to reprogram the remote to sync with your TV.

    Directv has several models of TCL TV to choose from to set up communication between the controller and TV. Unfortunately, model 43Q570F is NOT one of the choices. The 9 default codes that automatically try to communicate, when you say your model is not listed, don't work either, The Directv controller works perfectly with my TV with the exception of not being able to control the sound. Obviously there is a code out their for this specific model, but not part of your setup.
