Direct TV for RV

We currently have a Winegard antenna and a Directv receiver in our Rv. We purchased the motorhome in April. I think I want to connect this, but don't know if it is practical. I don't really need channels, as we have 3 smart televisions in the rv. Is it possible to just get connected without a bunch of channels? If not, is there a pay as you use?

I also have Verizon and am wondering if I should just get a hotspot for the rv.  Any thoughts?

Unless the Winegard is the Travler and you have an H or HR DTV receiver (but you may not be able to use as receivers are lease and can't be transferred or sold) then the lowest package with the least channels DTV offers is the unadvertised Family package. DTV never had a pay as you go option.

Thank you. So, we do have the Travler Pro. Are you saying I need a Directv receiver? What else do we need and how long of a wait.
