Didn’t receive return kit after canceling service

I have yet to receive my returns kit from DIRECTV.  How do I obtain one or return my equipment without it?

Receiving a prepaid return kit is the old process. Now you take any returnable boxes to a participating FedEx/The UPS Store location for the free return. Make sure to keep receipt showing they took possession.

What are the model numbers of those boxes?

What address do I send it to?  Do I just go to UPS and say I’m returning my DIRECTV equipment and they know the rest of the details?

You are not selecting an address. AT&T has a deal with those two shippers for bulk returns, which they added to DirecTV returns after acquiring them. So no return box or label, just get and keep the receipt.

I would look up the closest main location (not shipping annex) and just verify they are a participating location.

Thanks.  I returned my ATT internet device recently so I know where I can go.  I thought they sent me a bar code to have them scan, but maybe I’m not remembering correctly.

Just in case, make sure NOT to return AT&T and DirecTV equipment together. They don't go to the same place. This caused some return issues, at least in the early days of the new return process.

All ATT equipment has been returned.  It’s caused quite a mess.  When I had ATT internet and DIRECTV satellite, everything went through ATT.  When I cancelled ATT internet, my account was going to be transferred to DIRECTV.  That never really happened.  I’ve got both an ATT and DIRECTV account number, so I guess I’ll just hope for the best.  LOL

They scan the bar codes on the receivers

Hopefully the scanning will work.

I received a box today to return all of my equipment.  Seems like the old process is still being used in some cases.

The old process might be used if you call and confirm you are over 10 miles away from a participating shipper. If it was automatically sent with no request, then perhaps the new co-owner is updating their return procedures.
