Controlling volume on ROKU RCA TV with Genie remote

Hello!

I’ve been unable to control the volume on my tv the entire time I’ve had this tv. My DIRECTV GENIE remote was never professionally paired to this specific television. I’ve tried and can’t figure it out. Please help!
