Can I limit the boxes showing in the direct tv app?

We currently have 12 direct tv boxes.  I was looking to make one of our ipads direct tv app show only 4 of these direct tv boxes.  

Also is it possible to rename a box?  If so how?

Any help is greatly appreciated and my apologies if these questions were already asked.
