Box says Connecting ... and flickers

My box is stuck on the "Connecting ..." screen and constantly flickers. This is my main box, the other two in my house say the same thing. I have reset it by pushing the red button, also held the red button down for over 20 seconds, and also unplugged it. Tried all these multiple times and it stills just says "Connecting ..." and flickers.

Well that is embarrassing ... I thought the unit in our great was the main one but after your post telling me that the Genie in that room could not be, I went down into my basement office. That unit is a HR54-700. I did a hard reset of that unit and everything is working now. Thank you for your help in leading this "blind" man to the solution!

What are the model numbers of your boxes?

The main unit is a Genie C61K-700. The two others are Genie Mini C61-100.

No, it is not, your main unit is an HR44/54 or HS17.

Model numbers with a"C" are mini clients, HR44/54 or HS17 are the Genies.  You are welcome.
