Wgn
We would rather give up any station than to give up WGN so if this is not resolved as soon as possible we will be switching services

Switching is not the answer as any paid tv service in your area would be provided by the same provider which is Nexstar and the same thing could happen at any time with your new tv provider. The only way to avoid this is to get an over-the-air antenna and even they have limitations. Dish Network has been in dispute with this same provider since Jan of this year. So the problem is Nexstar, not Directv!

We are working with Nexstar to reach an agreement at the best value while minimizing the impact of any interruption, no matter how brief. For updates, visit TVPromise.com. DIRECTV appreciates your patience. NatalyC DIRECTV Social Media Specialist

Direct TV has been completely unresponsive to the desires of its Chicago customers.
WGN-TV is still not available on Direct TV.
It’s time for thousands of unhappy customers to take their business elsewhere.
This is NOT about Nexstar vs. Direct TV. This is about a business being unwilling or unable to provide a product or service that its customers are requesting.
If a local restaurant stops serving your favorite dish, you go to another restaurant. You don’t blame the food supplier for raising his prices.
If a local grocery store stops selling a brand of milk that you like, you go to another grocery store. You don’t blame the dairy farmer for raising his prices.
