Web site
Does anyone know what is going on with the DTV and ATT websites?
I got an email about my latest bill, clicked on the link to view my bill, takes me to the DTV site. Once there, one of the boxes says I am being billed by another party, so I click on the support tab, go to billing. That takes me to ATTs website, I click on the view my bill, that takes be back to the DTV site.
This has been going on for three months now.
What the heck (and I use that term to avoid offending the delicate sensibilities of this site's members and AI.) is going on?
Eight calls to DTV customer service got me zip, nada, no help at all.
Finally after requesting to speak to a supervisor, he says he will send me a bill in the mail.
DTV was the one that forced me to go to email delivery of my bill, and now I can't access it.
Is anyone else having this problem?
I find it incredulous that large corporations like ATT and DTV are unable to have functioning websites or customer service that have a clue to what's going on.
Is anyone out there listening?
Hello?
Hello?

Yes, this has happened to many other people. AT&T and DIRECTV are now separate entities as TPG has a 30% stake. Thus, all accounts managed from the AT&T site are being transferred to the respective DIRECTV side. During this process, accounts are being messed up as far as online account management, billing, managing receivers, etc.
No one here knows when it will be finished or resolved as we are all customers. Hopefully in a few more weeks or couple months we will start to see changes.
You’ve already done all you can do in the circumstance (complain) and that’s the most we can suggest.

Thanks for the information, it's a lot more that ATT or DTV gave me.
