Waited all day directv was a no show

Waited almost 2 weeks for an installation appointment. They gave me an 8:00-12:00 time range. They never showed up and never called to say they cancelled. The page that keeps you updated didn’t even change til the next morning. Husband ran into an installer in our community and he said he had someone cancel but he wasn’t assigned to come to our place. He said other installers were still in the area tho. We waited ALL DAY. We talked to different cs reps. We asked for a supervisor they kept saying they were on the phone and would call back in a half hour. Never happened. Then they said she was in a meeting and would call back in 2 hours. Didn’t happen. These people don’t care about the customers. Then they told us we had to reschedule but they couldn’t and I can’t even do it. I tried chat, nope he said call a different number. Sorry, not my job my friend is what we got. We called the number he gave us. It was the same place. So they never called  to say they weren’t calling, hung up on us 3 times. Didn’t call back when they said one time within 1/2 hour, other time 2 hours. Later when we knew they for sure weren’t coming because it was dark out  I looked at the website. It still said they were on their way. We had the option to reschedule but it says they can’t . We could check again later or call a certain number. When I called they said they aren’t coming today. I said I know and they won’t let me reschedule and said to call this number. She put me on hold and told me she would find out why they couldn’t come.  So we said ok, so now how are we going to handle this? So directv doesn’t want my business? She said I did my part. Sorry. That was it. They absolutely would not help us. We spent hours on the phone. All they would do is tell us scripted lies and to reschedule except they won’t let me reschedule. This has been the absolute worse cs experience that I have ever experienced in my life and we Americans are paying to be treated like this. These cs reps were hard to understand due to language barriers. So I have an account but no service and unable to reschedule. Let’s see if we get the phone call they said we would get in 72 hours. They lied about the others so who knows?

DTV like a lot of companies is still under staffed.  CSRs have no contact with the field techs, all they can do is schedule appointments.  DTV rarely calls back they say that to get you off the phone,
