TNT Issues

I was flipping between ESPN, ESPN2, and TNT last night watching basketball and for some reason TNT was on a 30-40 second delay (confirmed by the time and score difference in the ESPN iphone app).

It was almost like I was watching a streaming version with how far behind it was. ESPN was perfectly caught up with no delay issues. Does anyone know why TNT might have been that way as it happened with the Heat and Warriors game?

Are you sure your receiver wasn’t actually defaulting to the streaming version? What is the receiver model? If it was the satellite version of TNT it would be interesting to see if the issue stuck with the SD version as well (likely).

Otherwise, the most us customers on a public forum can assume is a technical issue with DIRECTV or the uplinker.

DTV has no control over what the channels sends them, most likely TNT was delaying the game to remove offensive language or gestures.
