Tech No Show

They rescheduled an appt due to weather and then didnt show - that's two days off from work and my issue isn't resolved- now going into the weekend without access to football - why do I bother even having the service - at this point we only really watch football on D TV - it probably makes more sense to get the NFL app on my smart TV - after being a customer for 25 years and the mass exodus of customers - you would think they would be more accommodating - instead they gave me another appointment for a time that is going to require another day off from work - they told me they can't guarantee a late appointment.....just terrible- I'll be looking into alternatives this weekend and most likely cancel the  account - Hulu is cheaper

I know you are frustrated about your service not getting repaired due to bad weather.  They try to think of their worker's safety over someone watching TV.  You should be able to get a discount or a prorated amount on your service until a Tech can get to you.  You could also try streaming your Sat service through the Directv Streaming App.

Like most companies DTV is still short staffed more so with techs. CSRs have no control over the techs or contact with them, all they can do is select the next available date and time suitable to you.
