Stupid billings/charges

Since I have been dealing with figures all my life I want to ask a VERY STUPID question(s).  Since we have been unable receive service from our glorious (vampires after blood ) Directv providers, are we the CUSTOMERS (who pay for this crap) going to get credit for shows/channels we have been unable to get? Also it might help if you give seniors (maybe the ones over 70 a discount??) Not all of us retired with a bankroll big enough to choke Godzilla and some like my self who are widows or widowers having to foot every penny myself & plus prices on rise.....you get the picture.  All I see is a bunch of vampires after blood...money hungry ghouls!

This is a public forum of other customers, we cannot offer any sort of discounts to you being we are customers as well.

If by missing shows/channels you mean local channels affected by Tegna, DIRECTV is offering a $10 credit for the inconvenience. See here to get this credit: https://www.directv.com/tvpromise/

As a note, you are not being forced to stay with DIRECTV as a senior, there are definitely several cheaper alternatives, including streaming services.

If you are missing your local channels you could get an over-the-air antenna or if you are looking for cheaper ways to watch TV you could look into streaming there are a lot of ways to watch free live channels if you can stream.
