Storm relief and disney credit
Are you giving credit for missing all the Disney channels? Is there and relief for Hellene victims!

There was a $10 credit for the lost Disney/ESPN/ABC channels, but that's no longer available since the channels have been restored.
I don't know what they're offering for hurricane victims.

The Disney Channel credit would be hard to get at this point since they have been restored for a while now. But the only way to see if you could get it would be to call customer service. Also, talking to customer service about relief for Hellene would be the only way to find out if there is any as we are mostly customers here.

They should have given the $10 Disney credit to everyone, without having to ask!

Not everyone cares that the channel was missing due to a contract dispute. Per the TOS DTV didn't have to issue any credits.

The credit was offered DURING the time Disney pulled their channels away. Redeeming online or calling at that time was your option. You can try calling now, but it may be too late.
There is no guarantee that any channel always or ever be there. This is why all TV providers have a clause that channels may change at any time. There was no obligation to provide a credit in the first place, but DirecTV chose to do so as a courtesy.
Since not everybody gives a darn about Disney channels, there was no good reason for them to automatically provide credit to everybody. So only those who cared enough about the channel to contact DirecTV got the credit. A business is not going to just throw away money needlessly.
Regarding the hurricane, you'll have to call to see if DirecTV has any natural disaster policy in place for it. All I could find was their options keeping viewers informed about the hurricane itself, not any kind of relief program (as of yet).
