Sign In Error - Care Code: 201
I continue to reset my password after not being allowed to access my Directv account. I have verified my correct login ID time and time again. I have reset my password for the AT&T account and Directv so many times and when I go back to login, I'm told there is a "Sign In Error." I have tried deleting the app and redownloading it. I have tried logging in on the internet from my computer. Nothing works.

To better assist you and to take a closer look on the sign in error. Please check your DIRECTV Message Inbox (It's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums).

so am I. I was able to sign in and set up the app to watch on my iPad and appleTV streaming device earlier this week, using an account that was deactivated. However, Thursday, when I tried to sign in on the website, I kept getting the same problem. It does not recognize my sign in information, and will not let me reset my password. I had a hard lock on my account from trying to sign on too many times. I was told by CS to wait 24 hours for the lock to lift, but still no luck.

I am having this very issue. I change the pw, come back to login and it fails. Every time from any application or PC.

Since DTV sat doesn't have an app for firestick try the streaming forum.

You're posting in the Satellite Forum. There's a separate forum here for DirecTV Stream. Please post your issue there, along with more information about your streaming device and whatever troubleshooting you've tried so far.

I have this same problem. Finally found out they do not have the correct user id (email address). Don't get me wrong, they have my correct email address on the account but the user ID is NOT the same as my email. Another problem with them is, I cannot have the same email user ID for both my AT&T phone account and my Direct TV account. I have one email account. Then we finally get that one figured out and I still cannot log in to the account because of a connection problem. I turned off VPN and it still doesn't work. I can log in to any other site I want including my work site that has many fire walls but not direct TV. Hmmmm. I will be so glad when my contract is up with this service. I do all my account management online but I cannot do that with Direct. Beyond frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I get a response that says to look for a chat button on my log in account ---- that I cannot log in to? HORRIBLE service.
