Serious issues- My bank shows monthly payments but DTV says they didn't
Im not sure what is going on with the billing department at Direct TV but I have serious issues that needs to be addressed. I have tried many times to reach someone to discuss this serious issue but NOBODY will listen and I feel Im being taken advantage of because of my age (84). I changed my service to DISH for a few months but didn't like it so I decided to come back to DTV
(July 24). In total we have been loyal DTV customers for over 20 years and NEVER once had an issue until now.
How is it possible that my payments are cleared by my bank (Statements are proof) since August 2024 but DTV states I haven't been paying. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I HAVE PAID $1,040.30 since December 2024. I demand a response, and I want this issue addressed by someone that actually has a clue what they are doing. This is OUTRAGEOUS

If DirecTV's system showed no payments on the account since last August, your service would have been shut off months ago.
How are you being informed about no payments? Have you checked the account number to be sure they didn't start you with a new account instead of reactivating the old one? (only if it had been over 2 years should it be a completely new account).
Something is very odd with your situation. This is a public forum of other customers so we can only provide guidance. For official support you call DirecTV, just make sure it is the official support number (I have their main one listed below) as there are a lot of scam artists out there targeting DirecTV customers right now.

This is a customer to customer forum with no access to any accounts, unless DTVhelp sends you a PM/DM there is not much we can do.
Did DTV send notices for the bill being overdue? Did DTV turn off the service?
