Prorate scam continues

I had Direct TV installed at a winter home in FL.  I only needed the service for 4 months, and when I put it on seasonal hold I was told I would have a $143 credit when I returned.  I could not get a refund when I requested. I returned to Fl and had service restored on 10/14, but switched to Youtube TV 5 days later.  Cancelled my service with Direct TV on 10/19 and was told I would be receiving a Visa cash card for around $100.  Fast forward 5 weeks and I hadn't received my card.  So I called today, and was told I was only getting back $14, due to ATT no longer pro rating service.  Had I been told this when I cancelled, I would have kept the service for the remaining three weeks.

What a SCAM!!!

It's not a scam. You returned and then cancelled 5 days later.

It's been several years since AT&T/DirecTV pro-rated bills upon cancellation. Sorry you got bad information.
