My appt for installation keeps being cNceld
I had an appointment for installation on March 4th the technician never showed. On March 8th the technician came to my house, sat in his vehicle for 5 mins and left. He never got out of his vehicle and knocked on our door even tho he said he did and he waited for over 30 mins. It's on camera that he was there for 5 mins and never got out of his vehicle. I had an appointment for today March 15th from 8am to 12pm for installation, and was calling yesterday to confirm it and it was canceled agian. Now I have an appt. On March 22nd which is (Edited per community guidelines). Why does my appointment keep being canceled. I have talked to 8, 8 mind you customer service reps. And none of them have helped me or given me answers.

Sadly, like many companies, DirecTV is short-handed with installers. Most work for third-party companies or as independent contractors. Clearly, there's no excuse for the tech to sit in his truck for 5 minutes and then leave. Hopefully, your next appointment will be successful.

Its a nightmare, My original Appt. was made in August. After several cancellations and no-shows the equipment was installed in December. the only reason I stuck with it was because of the discount they offered me. Call and get as much out of them as you can for the inconvenience.
