Moviesanywhere

Good morning, I recently signed up for Directv and linked my moviesanywhere account to the directv system.  The movies play if I am using the Directv app, however, if I play them using my genie 2 with the 4k mini box, they stop after 5 minutes.  I get a message that says, "Authorization in Progress".  I have refreshed the genie 2, unplugged it too.  Please help.  thx

It seems to be a problem with any movie that is not 4k.  If I bought the movie via 4k, its will work fine.  However, if the movie was bought via HD, the movie will not work.  example of movie not working.   Dante's Peak., Club Paradise, Spring Break, Aspen Extreme, etc...  I checked the Directv-Moviesanywhere website, everything should be working.  There is software issue somewhere that is preventing the movies to play.  Please get this working ASAP.  This is one reason I signed up with Directv, knowing I would be able to watch my movies in one place.  thx

If a 4K movie is purchased, you'll be able to watch all versions, but if the purchase is only HD, then you'll get the Not Authorized error message. Can you tell us which versions you own (HD or 4K) and which versions you're attempting to play when you receive the error message? Mohammad, DIRECTV Community Team

The HD version is the problem.  I have 3 4K movies I bought.   They all work fine.  However, the other movies are all HD and don't work after 5 minutes...

The screen turns black and there is a message too, "please wait while we prepare your program for playback".  that screen will time out, then I get screen that says "sorry, your purchase cannot be verified".  Error code 926.     Just like if I went to a channel that I did not subscribe to, I would get the same screen.

Yes, they are in my purchased folder on my Genie 2.  They have a $ sign next to the movie. (however, they do not have a price, like a regular PPV movie has, if I want to rent it or buy it.) I download them via the internet to the Genie 2 with no problem.  I currently have 500 mb for download.
