mlb.tv constantly losing connection to DTV
My mlb.tv account is losing its connection to my DTV extra innings account on a weekly basis. This has happened more times in the first 10 weeks of the 2023 season than it has in the last 5 years combined.
Anyone else experiencing this?
While it's relatively easy to go back in to reauthorize the connection between MLB.TV and my DTV account, it sure is annoying to want to watch/listen to a game and find that my account says inactive.
Would love to hear any solutions if anyone else is seeing the same.

Thanks for posting this. I'm experiencing the same issue every few days and have to go through the entire process as you've described. Very frustrating. I was having similar issues with NBA League Pass last year so it will probably motivate me to subscribe directly through the leagues going forward. It's clear the issue is on the DirecTV side now that I've seen it with two different sports.

We are having a similar issue where we need to reset our DIRECTV password every time we log into MLB.TV.

this is very annoying, every week I have to reconnect my DirecTV account with MLB.TV and sign out and sign in on every single device several times, in order for it to allow me to watch the games

it is actually an MLB issue.
they have a problem with their server and have to reset it every week typically on Sunday I believe.
it requires everyone has to sign in, but is not a a DIRECTV issue

I have the exact same issue as well (every Tue eve for us... JUST refreshed it again! . . . SO frustrating!). Why isn't DirecTV fixing this for their subscribers. I've been here since the beginning; almost 30 years now but this makes me want to give up! ;o)

this is not a DIRECTV issue.
I talked with MLB a few months ago, and they said the problem is on their end, and that they have to refresh their servers once a week.
I do not believe this will be fixed until next year.
but, I repeat, this is not a DIRECTV issue

This is happening to me on a daily (not weekly) basis when I am asked to reset my DIRECTV password when logging into MLB.TV.
I don't plan to renew my Extra Innings package with DIRECTV next year. Better to sign up for MLB.TV directly.
