Unfortunately, you cannot get free internet and TV through DIRECTV, as it is not a necessity in every-day life. DIRECTV does not currently offer any school-age student, disabled senior, etc. discounts.

Get an OTA antenna and drop pay TV,  You need to contact your ISP to get their $10 internet service.

There is not low cost/free DirecTV for being a veteran, senior citizen, etc. That is luxury entertainment. The alternative is traditional TV by using a over-the-air (OTA) antenna for free channels within range.

As for low income or government assistance programs for internet, you will need to check with whatever internet providers are in your area. DirecTV is not an internet service provider (ISP), they are TV only.
