Login goes to AT&T and fails. Cannot access account.
I cannot log in to directv.com. If I go to the site and click "sign in," it goes to an AT&T url with a DirecTV logo. If enter my login name and password I get a screen that says,
This site can’t be reached
Check if there is a typo in cprodx.att.com.
If spelling is correct, try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
I have already tried different browsers and devices, including a separate laptop and an Android phone, with the same results, so I'm convinced the problem has nothing to do with browser cache or system settings.
I've tried using the mobile APP as well. Same run-around.
I've even tried connect from a different house with no change in result.
The actual DirecTV service is fine. I can watch TV, I just can't log in to the account to request upgrades, drop channels, suspend service or anything like that.
I'm about ready to just cancel the account. Any suggestions first?

Sounds like an issue when your DIRECTV account was likely transferred from AT&T servers to DIRECTV servers when AT&T sold a stake of DIRECTV and TPG acquired 30%. I'd call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and say "sign-in help" to the robot to be sent to an agent that can asisst.
