I do not have Direct TV account but when I log into my ATT email it keep redirecting me to Direct TV. Any Idea how to fix this?

Both ATT and Direct TV do not seem to want to support me on this although they say it is a known error.  However I am pretty sure it is illegal for Direct TV to hijack my email account and not allow me to change anything.  This is getting very tiresome.

AT&T sold off 30% of DTV and the new partner is moving billing and the website over to them and they have taken over the day to day operations.

All of this is fine but it doesn’t solve my problem.  Why has Direct TV taken over access to my email account?  I don’t even have Direct TV service.  AT&T has indicated that Direct TV needs to fix the issue but they are not responding.  What I need is help!

This doesn't make any sense. DirecTV has nothing to do with your AT&T email account.

Agreed it does not make any sense but when I log into my AT&T email account it redirects automatically to Direct TV.  When I call AT&T they say they cannot do anything about it and Direct TV says its not their problem.  Classic pass the buck inside the same company.  This is a ridiculous problem that I am sure is the result of some sort of set up error that no one wants to fix.
