I am unable to rename my Genie minis wireless receivers, and they are also mismatched on app

I cannot rename my Genie minis wireless receivers. These receivers also do not match what is showing on my DirecTV App. They also are not matching what is showing on my DirecTV Whole Home DVR. Both the app and Whole Home seems to be showing the receivers that I had several years ago before my equipment was upgraded. 


Are there other customers that are experiencing this issue?

markandaimee2004, If you want to change the name on the actual box, please go to Menu > Settings > Whole Home. However, that's just for in-home use. If you are trying to use a tablet or smartphone to control the system, it actually uses a different assigned name. If you go to the DIRECTV website and log into your account, under Equipment, you can change the name that appears on your device. We'll send you a PM to better assist you. That's where I was trying to go on the website. I spent a good amount of time on the phone with an agent yesterday, and there is an issue with my WholeHome and my ability to change the names of my equipment.... beyond what they were able to help me with. He was very kind and tried VERY hard, but something is wrong with my setup for sure. What is listed is my OLD equipment, not my upgraded equipment. And our upgrade was years ago. I would really like to speak to someone to have this resolved.
