How to private message or chat?

I started a topic yesterday and a DTV community specialist requested I send her a private message. How do I do this? Also, the “chat” feature on this community support forum doesn’t work - there is no active link.  Bottom line - how do we contact DTV for technical support?

You can not initiate a private message. You can only reply to a private message if the community specialist sends one to you. The chat icon will only work if you have been sent a private message.

Private Message/Direct Message (PM/DM) icon (text/speech bubble) is located in the upper right between the notification icon (bell) and "directv.com".

Must be logged into your account to have access to it. The icon will only show once an official PM/DM has been initiated to you.

Please stick to original thread instead of creating multiple for same conversation
