How to block purchases

My 4 year old son somehow managed to purchase some minion episodes for $10 or so. How do i go about blocking any purchases?

Set up parental controls with your remote

It's easy to enable parental controls with your remote.
  1. Press MENU on your remote.
  2. Choose Settings or Settings & Help (varies by receiver type).
  3. Select Parental Controls and follow the prompts to review or edit your settings.
  4. Select Lock Now and enter your PIN.

Then, change the spending limit to $0. However, did your son purchase it through the DIRECTV receiver or online?

Am sure through the receiver, no one watches anything online except me. Freaking kids man. But ya that is what i just did exactly, i just thought there is more to it than that. Thanks for the help.

i just got off the phone with direct tv customer support and there is nothing set up at this time to limit spending.

my 95 year old father just purchased a $20 movie.....  no one there knows anything.    you cannot limit or put a pin in for purchasing a on demand or movie or sporting event.    We only have this service because he want to watch MLB and dish no longer carries the channels needed to watch baseball  --

That would be why. DIRECTV STREAM unfortunately doesn’t have this feature at the given moment (no one knows if/when they will add it).
