horrible customer service. email address listed doesn't work

I continue to recieve emails stating that my payment has failed. I have spent way too much time on the phone and chats with incompetent reps who I struggle to understand with super thick foreign accents.

Today one of them said my last payment went through so these payment failed messages I keep getting are false and annoying to the extreme.
I am finding directv becoming increasingly frustrating to deal with. There are MANY much cheaper ways to watch TV. For the amount I'm charged I would expect people who speak English clearly without a bunch of platitudes and false pleasantries which waste my time, make the service LESS efficient and totally (Edited per community guidelines) me off.
I'm about ready to end my relationship with directv because of this cost cutting which will in reality become customer cutting.
Way, way too much money for what we get enjoy your bloated profits...for now. Your time is limited with the current business model. Younger people will not tolerate it.

Are you sure that these "payment failed" messages are actually coming from DIRECTV, rather than someone attempting to mislead you into sending them money?

DTV doesn't have email support.   Have you logged into your account to see if the payment has or hasn't posted?  Has your bank/CC been charged?

There is no email address to contact DirecTV. For official support you call them, use the chat option on their website (no transcripts to account, and answers have been questionable), or be lucky to get a DM sent by the official forum help team (otherwise the forum is customer to customer).

Either you are getting a false email auto generated, or someone is pretending to be DirecTV to trick you into giving out your information.

Doesn't matter if young or old, the TV business models apply to everyone. You find the one that best fits you for equipment, channels, availability (open air satellite, hardline cable, or internet streaming), and price. And people's employment is not determined by their accent. Even with those born in-country who's family has been here many generations there are many accents across the country that could make it difficult for someone in a different region of the county to understand very well.

As mentioned, check your bank/card account to see what payments posted and where. Make sure you've paid and communicated with DirecTV itself and not someone pretending to be them.
