hooking up a TCL roku tv to my direct tv service

For genie remotes RC7X's

1. enable RF mode

2. Press and hold mute+enter (under #9) keep RC pointed on receiver and wait for msg on screen. Press OK

3. Press Vol multiple times, a prompt should pop up on tv telling you to prog remote, follow on screen

4. Change/program TV

5. Select brand/model press ok (select idk my model if udk)

6. Keep remote pointed on receiver

7. Try vol before 1st selecting "it worked"

If vol, mute, power and input works just exit the settings or go back to live programming.

Keep in mind, the DIRECTV remote powers on your TV and controls the volume while watching DIRECTV. To adjust TV settings or access third-party apps, use the remote control that came with your TV.
