HBO MAX

MY bill shows I should be getting HBO Max but I am not

What error code do you receive when tuning to the channel on receivers? When you go to your online account does it show ‘HBO MAX’ under ‘My Programming’ or ‘Manage my Package?’ Try refreshing receivers one by one to ensure they have the latest updates.

Done all that I get regular HBO on direct. It says not signed up for HNO MAX but my Direct TV statement says I am

If you get it on your DIRECTV receivers then what seems to be the issue? Are you trying to watch it on your devices?

What says not signed up? Presuming you are trying to access the HBO Max streaming service, that probably means you are not authenticating with your Directv credentials.

Did that. I have spent hours with Direct and HBO. The statement says I qualify for free HBOMAX but only get HBO

Don’t know what to tell you then, if you are getting the HBO satellite channels, you should also get access to HBO Max using your Directv credentials. That’s how I access HBO Max. I did have to reset my Directv password a couple weeks ago to get HBO Max working again, though.

your info is quite confusing. If it doesn’t work that’s beyond the scope a forum can assist with. At this point it’s likely an issue between DIRECTV and HBO Max.

I'm having the same issue and I've had the Premier package for years and was using the HBO Max app on Apple TV with no issues until recently.

When logging in, I select sign in with provider and DirecTV and I have been unable to login to HBO Max with my DirecTV credentials for the past 3 months.  I have tried using the PC, mobile app, Apple TV, and resetting my ATT/DTV password didn't help.  I contacted DTV three times and all were escalated with no resolve.  I also contacted HBO Max and they deferred me back to DTV. 

I get no error codes.  After trying to login on the HBO Max page using my DTV credentials, a popup says, "Can't verify your subscription.  Contact your provider".

Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do in this case being we are all just customers. Hopefully soon the issue is fixed and both companies find the culprit. For now continue to use the actual DIRECTV app as you can still enjoy all of the live HBO channels as well as most of the HBO on-demand library that would be available on the actual hbo max app.
