Your billing cycle started the day you where installed and on day 2 the bill is made and sent or if on auto pay paid. On day 20 the bill is due.

Day 1: Bill cycle starts which is day of install/activation.

Day 2: Bill produces. Also paid if on autopay with a credit card.

Day 20: Listed due date if not on autopay. Though as long as balance is paid in full (posted to account) before cycle starts over then there should be no late fee (but still payment reminders when past due date).

Some advice...

If you order service, read the order confirmation thoroughly. That way if there are any questions or concerns you can address them BEFORE you are installed and activated. After install the 24 month service agreement is secured.

Check DirecTV's website for the current channel listing. Be aware like DIRECTV STREAM, and other TV providers, you cannot pick and choose individual channels. All you can do is decide on the best package for you out of what is available. And like all TV providers, channels can change AT ANY TIME. New ones come in, others leave (perhaps temporarily during carriage negotiations). This means none of us viewers are entitled to any specific channel and cannot remove specific channel (outside of hiding with a favorites list of course).

Just mentioning the order confirmation for your protection and to be aware how the channels will work based on prior concerns you've had. And is suggested to order through DirecTV itself (website or their official number), and not a 3rd party seller such as in someone else's store (even AT&T) or door-to-door as too often they will say anything to make a sale (or are not very knowledgeable about the service since they don't work for them).
